Return Policy

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase.

If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return it for a refund within 30 days of your original order date.

We will gladly accept your return for any reason on most items (*see below for some exceptions) and issue a refund for the merchandise returned subject to the following conditions:

  • All returns must be authorized and require an RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization);
  • All returned items must be in their original condition, in original packaging, with all tags still attached, free of odors and pet hair, unworn/unwashed;
  • Items are returned to us within 30 days of your original order date.
  • All returns incur a 10% restocking fee.
  • Please note that shipping fees and gift wrapping charges are not refundable.

Any returns that we may accept at our discretion that do not meet our return criteria will incur a minimum 20% restocking fee.

All sales are final after 30 days of the original order date.

Please note that if the item was a gift, we will be unable to issue a refund to anyone other than the person who originally placed the order.



Easy Steps to Return an Item

  • Please contact us via email to request an RMA #.
  • Pack your return securely and include a packing slip. Circle the item(s) you are returning.
  • We are not responsible for lost items, so please insure accordingly. All packages must be prepaid - we cannot accept C.O.D.'s
  • Address the return package to:

  • Returned package must be postmarked within 30 days of your original order date.
  • Upon inspection of the returned items, we will process your return to the original form of payment within 5 days.
  • Please allow up to 30 days for your credit to appear on your statement.


 
Holiday Items Return Policy

If you purchased Holiday items (this includes 4th of July, Halloween, Christmas and velvet garments) and for any reason are dissatisfied with your purchase, you are more than welcome to return it to us for a refund within 30 days of your original order date but BEFORE the date of the respective holiday, subject to the following conditions:

  • All returns require an RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization);
  • All returned items must be in their original condition, in original packaging, with all tags still attached, free of odors and pet hair, unworn/unwashed;
  • Shipping fees and gift wrapping charges are not refundable;
  • If you return a holiday item 30 days or more before the date of the holiday, we'll issue a refund in accordance to our regular Return Policy;
  • Holiday items returned less then 30 days before the date of the holiday, incur a 20% restocking fee;
  • All sales on Holiday merchandise are final as of the date of the holiday.


Items that Cannot Be Returned:
  • Hair accessories - hair bows, head bands, hats;
  • Socks & tights;
  • Undergarments, including diaper covers;
  • Swimsuits;
  • Special Order items;
  • Clearance/Final Sale items;
  • Personalized items

Return Guidelines and Limitations:

  • Items cannot be returned for any reason once the tags have been removed. Please thoroughly inspect your item(s) before removing the tags.
  • Shipping charges both ways are non-refundable.
  • Returned items that were originally purchased with Free Shipping, will have our standard shipping charge subtracted from the refund.
  • Orders shipped with promotions will have the value of the promotion subtracted from the refund.
  • If shoes were sent in a box, be sure to return the box in a different box - please don't use the shoe box as the shipping box or there will be a 25% restocking fee for us to obtain a new box from the manufacturer.
  • Please note - some of the items we sell are quite delicate and have embellishments that may not hold up well with active children or in the wash. We are unable to accept returns or make concessions on items that were damaged while worn, shrunk in the wash or did not hold up well after being worn or washed. Please keep this in mind when ordering.
  • If you refuse the delivery of your package from the shipping carrier, we will treat it the same as return, subject to the terms of our Return Policy, and you will be responsible for all shipping charges associated with returning the package to Color Me Happy Boutique, if applicable.



Exchanges
 
Color Me Happy Boutique does not offer direct product exchanges. Instead, please place a new order for the product(s) you want as a replacement, and complete the return process of the original item(s).
 

 

Misship or Incorrect Shipment

We inspect all items as we receive them in stock, but on rare occasion mistakes do happen. If you received incorrect or damaged items, or feel your order is incomplete - we deeply apologize for the inconvenience and will correct it - please Contact Us immediately so that we may resolve the issue quickly.

However, please keep in mind that the incorrect/damaged item must still be unworn, unwashed and with all tags attached in order to be returned.
